EDUCATION Attended The Michael Mount Waldorf School, Johannesburg 1995 Matriculated from The National School of the Arts, Johannesburg. 1996 Studied for a semester at The Art Institute of Florence – Lorenzo De’Medici in, under the tutelage of Rose Shakinovsky and Claire Gavronsky, specialising in Ceramic Sculpture, Painting, Drawing and Contemporary Art History. 2001 Received Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art degree with distinction from Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town, in. Majoring in Printmaking, and Theory and Practice of Art. 2002/03 Part-time training (‘Bridging Polarities Through Art’) at the Centre for Creative Education, Cape Town.

ABOUT THE ARTIST ‘After leaving Johannesburg in early 1996 I worked and studied abroad until returning to Cape Town in 1998 to begin my degree. After my degree I continued to live and work in Cape Town until 2004, during which time I did not practice my art but had an organic vegetable business in False Bay. In 2004 I moved to the Karoo to start my Fine Art career. I am currently living and painting in Calitzdorp.’
